The delicate lines of timber slats and the soft curvature of the ceiling flow gently from the entryway, guiding the gaze into an expansive communal space. Natural light filters softly through layers of sheer curtains, spreading across the living room, dining area, and window seat, enveloping the space in a warm glow. The soft texture of stained wood veneers interlaces seamlessly with the organic wall finishes and stone-grained countertops, layering rich tactile depth amid shifting light and shadow, crystallizing a serene Zen composure within a minimalist, open canvas.

In response to the owners’ preference for a minimalist Zen aesthetic, the design team curated a collection of earthy, raw materials—including wire-brushed wood veneers, terrazzo, and textured plaster—to strike a perfect balance between the older generation’s fondness for nostalgic elements and the younger generation’s contemporary tastes. Furthermore, reconfigured the layout from a three-bedroom to a two-bedroom with an integrated daybed lounge to satisfy the clients’ desire for an expansive, luminous vista. This strategic spatial editing creates a generous, sun-drenched circulation that effortlessly accommodates social gatherings; resulting in a functionally versatile, poetically calm sanctuary that respects the aesthetic alignment of both generations.
